1980 also heralded the launch of the Digital Framestore Synchroniser DFS1751 which at just 1u in rack space height was the world’s smallest synchroniser. The DFS 1751 was designed as a compact, lightweight, high performance digital framestore synchroniser accepting PAL colour video input which it will synchronise to its given reference input signal. The product was latterly available to the NTSC market.
