"With the number of Quantel units, PictureBox and PaintBox, that we have installed in our Studios in Battersea it has always been reassuring to know that we have a further source of information in the advent of any problems that are beyond our engineering skills. The response of the engineers at Effect Systems Ltd on these occasions has been excellent, often arriving on site with the appropriate spares to solve the fault. This has doubtless been aided by the use of the dial-in modem facility we have, enabling them to "talk" directly to the faulty unit and rapidly diagnose the problem, and advise us of a solution. All in all, the support given by the very experienced team of engineers at Effect Systems Ltd has certainly reduced any "down time" of this equipment to a minimum to meet the demands of a busy Satellite broadcaster." |
