System Support
Our experienced Grass Valley and Quantel engineers provide specialist remote technical support to help diagnose faults and keep established sQ systems operational.
Where equipment is covered by an active Grass Valley support agreement, support is provided through the established Grass Valley process. For systems outside an active manufacturer support agreement, Effect Systems can provide support directly.
Hardware Test and Repair
Our workshop is fully equipped to diagnose and repair specialist broadcast hardware. Our engineers can identify faults, provide clear findings and, where appropriate, an estimate for repair using parts from our extensive engineering stock.
LiveTouch and Edit Seats
Diagnostics & Repair

Configuration
Our engineers can assist with the configuration and reconfiguration of LiveTouch and associated systems, helping ensure equipment is correctly set up for its intended application and integrated effectively within the wider system
IQ modular
Test and repair
Our engineers provide specialist test, diagnosis and repair for Grass Valley IQ Modular equipment, backed by extensive product knowledge, workshop facilities and engineering stock.
Reconditioning
We can inspect, test and recondition IQ modules and associated hardware to help extend their operational life and return serviceable equipment to use.

Parts & Logistics
RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation)
Our RMA process provides a clear route for equipment being returned to Effect Systems for assessment or repair. From arrival and job logging through to engineering assessment and return, we keep the process straightforward and provide communication throughout.
Parts Warehouse
We maintain an extensive engineering stock of specialist parts and assemblies for Grass Valley, SAM and Quantel systems. This stock supports our repair and lifecycle support activities, helping to keep established equipment operational where replacement parts may otherwise be difficult to source.
